The LTC Jumonville Film Class is looking for Actors!
Welcome! LTC Jumonville Film and Video Production Class The LTC Jumonville Film and Video Production Class is a comprehensive 12-week program. This course gives an overview of the fundamental elements of production for the film and video industries. It introduces students to industry terminology, equipment/operations and crew responsibilities/protocol on a production set. The program is completely interactive as students are given the opportunity to receive hands on experience with audio, lighting and camera equipment. Professionals who are presently working in the film and video industries serve as instructors for all of the classes. The program focuses on seven weeks of classroom instruction and 5 weeks of practicum. The 7 weeks of classroom instruction consists of LTC Orientation, Introduction to Film and Video Production, Introduction to Screenwriting, Introduction to Video Pre/Post, Introduction to Audio, Introduction to Lighting and Introduction to Camera. During the 5 weeks of practicum the students are placed on a production set, where they shoot a short film on 35mm, using a script created in the Introduction to Screenwriting class. Students who successfully complete the LTC Jumonville Film and Video Production Class are eligible to apply for the Home Grown Workforce Initiative on-the-job film production-training program.
