Keith Smith Film Instructor Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, this Xavier University and AFI graduate has worked as a cinematographer and director of photography on various films. He began his career at a news station in New Orleans, which blossomed into working as a camera assistant for industry professionals such as Oliver Stone and Bob Richardson, ASC. He worked with the pair on “JFK” and “Natural Born Killers.” Smith has also worked on many independent films and short films that have been professionally recognized and reviewed. The multi-talented professional is now focusing his attention on director of photography projects. Smith’s vast experience in the film industry lends credit to his teaching technique and style.
