Linda Thurman Intro to Screenwriting Instructor Thurman, a Louisiana native, has 40 years of experience in the film industry. She has worked for United Artists, HBO Pictures, and Hollywood Creative Directory. She has worked on films including Fried Green Tomatoes and The Hitcher with Rutger Hauer and has done theatrical lighting in New York. Thurman is also the President of Business Development at Emerald Bayou Studios. Her experience includes contract negotiation, development, administration and all aspects of business for the studio. From theatre to film Thurman has been a featured speaker for various councils, associations and internet companies. Thurman is producing feature films such as Secret Society with Bill Duke set to direct and Sans Souci which she penned.
