The LTC-Jumonville Film Production Class is looking for cast for the film, “The Glass Chord” to be shot in New Roads, LA. “The Glass Chord” is a touching story about an aging jazz musician suffering from Alzheimer’s. The film production staff is casting for the following roles: An African-American male, age 10 or 11. The role requires that he play the piano and be proficient in jazz, classical and contemporary music; an African-American male, age 40-50; an African-American male, age 70 who can play the piano well and be proficient in jazz, classical and contemporary music; a Caucasian female, age 55-60. Extras will also be cast for various scenes throughout the film. Auditions will be held on Monday-Wednesday, July 24-26. The film will be shot July 24 through August 11.
